Dear Winther Winds´ Singing Friend
The ice-cold wind is singing in the darkness while snow drifts and leave dunes over the tiny, fragile roads in Denmarks countryside. I have been writing on my new book at the fireplace for days and been so engrossed that I have porsponded this newsletter.
It seems like 2026 brings changing winds, that can shift the weather, brings political surprises, but also huge openings of consciousness which I sense applies to all of us.
My New Year’s resolution is to teach “Singing for Self-Healing”, because it is in the recognition of our own inherent possibilities, that we develop.
Two women with pancreatic cancer. After two treatments, the vocal sound scanning now show no trauma sounds. Please send up a prayer for them. It is difficult when we cannot get a scan at the hospital. There must soon be developed a device that can show healthy cells and cancer as signals on a colored image, a bit like the sound of singing gives signals. How fantastic it would be if it existed. Please let me know if you know of such an invention.
International Online Education in Vocal Sound Therapy has been moved to February 1-8 due to www.online.gilalai.com being down for the first week of 2026. There will be two classes: Morning 9-11 AM Danish time (CET) and afternoon 4-6 PM Danish time (CET). There are included 20 hours lecturer filmed, that you get access to, when you have registerred. Course in the Judean Desert
I have been invited for two workshops at the Kann-Festival in the Judean Desert, a 10-minute drive from Arad in Israel on March 19th and 20th, as well as a three-day course in the same area on March 22rd-24th. Afterwards, there is planned a day course for the mentally and physically disabled and one for soldiers suffering from PTSD. Here, therapists who have participated in the course on March 22nd-24th will be able to help if they feel ready. There is great interest in Vocal Sound Therapy in Israel, and it is my hope that the singing courses can start healing across the borders between Palestinians and Israelis in the long term. In Geneva I have been invited to participate in an experiment in collaboration with scientists, where students will also be part of the measurements. We will have a meeting about it next week.

Lecture in connection with Kirstine Roephdorff’s exhibition about water together with Kirstine R. and biologist, researcher Nikolaj Sorgenfrei Blom about Water. The lecture costs 80 kr.
Thursday 29.1 Free online meeting for Sound Therapists and other interested parties at 19.30-20.30. Presentation on the balance between Yin and Yang and how sound can be integrated here. You will hear more and get a link the week before.
It is indeed some exiting times that we live in. Remember you can do much more than you think, or maybe it’s the higher powers that can do it… in any case, it’s you who it gets through. We are all flutes and our duty is to keep the flute open for higher powers to sing through us.
