The purpose of the exam in Vocal Sound Therapy is that Githa Ben-David can vouch for you as a therapist in her method, so that a high standard is maintained.

Through the exam, you improve your skills through an evaluation and collection of the material that you may have missed because you have participated in several different course formats.

Since Githa Ben-David is very much around the world, and several of her students also teach, and there is the possibility of self-study in groups through the recorded webinars/live training, the exam format has been changed so that anyone can take the exam for a fee if they meet the basic requirements, which are:

  1. To answer an evaluative questionnaire based on Githa Ben-David’s books, online films and or courses, training, whatever you have participated in. The answers must be precise, concise and based on Githa Ben-David’s theories and methods and not based on your personal considerations, other people’s training, unless you are asked about your personal position/your background.
  2. To make a film of max. 8 minutes showing a live therapy situation with you as a therapist and a real client. The film is cut together with relevant excerpts of:
    a) breathing instruction. b) interview and free singing.
    c) sound scanning
    d) response from the client e) possible activation of meridians (not a requirement).
  3. To send 30 documented cases on different clients (journal can be downloaded here). Clients cannot be fellow students as a rule.

All material is sent together to addresses received when registering for the exam.
