This writing is a standing up for the truth.
With the New Year 2024 it is one year since we, Lars Muhl and I, Githa Ben-David, divorced and split our Institute Gilalai 1.1.2023.
Much has been and continues to be said, written and reported from Lars Muhl´s side to all of you, who knows both of us and has supported our work through many years. But in the picture Lars draws, now with Naleea Landmann by his side, you can get the impression, that I have known about everything, that has gone on between him and Naleea, while we were married and had an institute and a publishing company together, and that everything is in the most beautiful order in relation to me. This is far from the truth, and therefore cannot stand alone.
I did not know, that Lars and Naleea have had a close relationship and collaboration for years. A lot has come to light over the past year, which I no longer can keep silent about.
I have informed Lars several times, that I do not wish to be involved, part of or used in any way in his and Naleea´s work, as I cannot vouch for it. I have asked him not to use me, my boys, my methods of soundhealing and the concept we have created together – without our/my consent.
Recently Lars and Naleea have send out a Christmas and New year greeting with our song: “May God Bless You”. In this greeting it is written that the song is written by “Lamu and Naleea” as a co-writer. They did not inform me about it or send me the greeting, even my son and I appear in the video.
Lars and I made this recording in 2019/2020.
I made choir/ doubled Lars´s voice, edited the tracks and wrote the part of the chorus: Ahava -Malkuta, and Lars did not tell me, that Naleea Landmann was a part of this song. It was also never mentioned during our concerts when performing this song.
A few days after our final divorce, Lars and Naleea was ready with a Europe tour. They have been very active to promote themselves this year in all social medias. The couple says, they have been partners since 2017 in their interviews. Naleea proclaims that they have a very old relationship and Lars does not deny it.
Lars and my 23 year long very fruitful, creative friendship, partnership and marriage, seems non existing in the new couple’s history, which has been unfolding while we, Lars and I, were married, had the Gilalai Institute and lived together as man and wife.
